Ever thought that you might like to join a running club? Feeling that you're not fast enough? Think again.
Over the past 10 years Lliswerry Runners has grown its coaching team (pictured here) to meet the increasing interest and demand from new runners of all standards.
Whether its Couch to 5k, parkrun, training for 10k, a half marathon such as Cardiff or even marathons, we have a training group to suit and Coaches & Leaders to support.
We often recommend that first timers who can manage a parkrun try our Wednesday night sessions, meeting at 6:30pm at the NISV Swimming pool building. There’s no obligation to become a member and we love to meet new people. At this session we will introduce you to one of our 6 training groups, so that you can run with others of the same standard. If & when you are ready, you can try another group. It’s all up to you but we’re happy to help by giving advice.
Alternatively, if you are an absolute beginner, get in touch. We can get you started on one of our Couch to 5k programmes.
So please come & see us. You’ll end up saying what all our members end up saying “Why didn’t I join before?”.
