Safeguarding and Welfare

Lliswerry Runners are a friendly, welcoming and inclusive running club and we are committed to ensuring that all of our members can enjoy running in a safe and respectful environment.  There are a number of ways that we do this.

Our safeguarding officers are here to listen, support and protect members of all ages; from the Lliswerry Juniors to our senior members.  No problem is too small.  If you have any concerns, please contact Ruth or Martyn and they will always make the time to listen, in complete confidence, offer advice and guidance and support you.

Ruth and Martyn also ensure that we have enough trained first aiders, safety equipment, coaches are DBS checked and that we adhere to British Athletics Procedures and Policies for running clubs and much, much more.
